I saw an interview with one of my all time favorite human beings, Terence Mckenna, where he was reflecting on his own imminent passage after living with his diagnosis of the very grim glioblastoma multiforme four, he remarked, the one thing he did know about death was that it lasted a very long time. This sums it up too.
